SHIPPING: Allyson James has sourced the very best from designers around the world. They each have their own shipping policy so please email us if you need your order by a certain date. We do offer rush shipping options but you must contact us before you place your order to check on availability and pricing.  We cannot guarantee arrival by a certain date unless you contact us first! We cannot guarantee arrival by a certain date until AFTER the item has shipped with a guaranteed tracking number.   If your item arrives after your event date and you have not made prior arrangements with us and paid for a guaranteed shipping date (or the item is a custom order) we are not responsible.  

SHIPPING DELAYS: We do our very best to get your order to you by your need by date however once an order has left the warehouse it is in the hands of the shipper and we have no control over it. Allyson James is not responsible or liable for delays or shipments that have arrived after your event date due to volume, weather delays, holiday delays or unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to damages incurred while in transit). Please order far enough in advance so you are not disappointed by a late arrival. If your event falls during a holiday or it is a custom order please allow extra shipping time. 

CUSTOM ITEMS: Allyon Jamess cannot give or promise an exact ETA for custom items! There are too many variables that go into custom orders to be able to "promise" an arrival date. We will do our very best to get your item to you on time however please keep in mind that Allyson James is not responible or liable for custom order items that arrive after your need by date. Please place your custom order with this policy in mind and allow enough time for unforseen circumstances. 

No matter how many designers you order from you’ll only pay once through our simple checkout process. Just remember that if your items come from different designers timings may vary and your items may arrive separately. (Who doesn’t love multiple surprises in the mail.)

We process USA domestic orders within 10 business days of cleared payment unless otherwise stated on listing. Please read the listing carefully for your shipping times. As always if you have any questions please contact us at:

Domestic Standard postage normally takes 5 to 10 business days after processing.

Domestic Standard Shipping: $12.98

Domestic 2-day Shipping: $28.98 (except where otherwise noted)

*For your own peace of mind, we recommend you upgrade to INSURANCE which includes a tracking number. Depending on your item and destination domestic insurance via the USPS will range between $1.75 - $9.70 per item.  Allyson James cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items once they have been shipped. 

International Shipping & Customs: PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER FOR ACCURATE SHIPPING CHARGE AND AVAILABILITY! NOT ALL DESIGNERS WILL SHIP INTERNATIONALLY! ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE ADDED VIA A SEPARATE PAYPAL INVOICE. International orders are sent via UPS or USPS. Most deliveries to Europe will arrive within 7-14 business days of package being shipped. Shipments to other countries may take longer. All additional taxes, fees, tariffs, import fees, and surcharges levied by destination countries are the responsibility of the customer.  Allyson James cannot determine the amount in advance if any that will be charged. Please check with the customs house of your country to determine if any additional charges will be applied to your order. Allyson James does not receive any money from customs and import fees. *Allyson James cannot accept responsiblity for delayed, damaged or lost items! We double and triple check to make sure all orders are in perfect condition before they leave the warehouse but situations can arise that are outside our control. Please consider upgrading to priority express which includes a tracking number and insurance! 

CUSTOMS: If you item is held by customs it is your responsibility to contact customs and arrange delivery. Allyson James is not responsible for items held, delayed or lost in customs. If you're items are returned to us because you failed to make arrangements with customs or the freight forwarder it is the customer's responsibility to pay all return fees and arrange for re-delivery when possible. Customers are not eligible for returns or exchanges it they failed to pick up up or arrange delivery of items in customs.  

LOST ITEM & DELAYED SHIPPING: Allyson James is not liable if your items are lost, delayed or damaged during shipment due to carrier fault, wrong address or shipping delays (please see above) as these are beyond our control. Allyson James is not responsible for delays due to volume, weather delays, holiday delays or unforeseen circumstances that are outside our control. Since any loss is at your own risk! Please seriously consider an UPGRADE to insured shipping if you need to cover against loss and to have a tracking number. We strongly advice this! Allyson James will always keep postage receipts as a proof of delivery in case of disputes. Tracking numbers are not always provided so if you need a tracking number please contact us or reply to your order confirmation within 24 hours. Allyson James will go out of our way to accommodate you however once an order has been processed it cannot always be changed or canceled. 

EVENT DECOR/FREIGHT DAMAGE POLICY: We photograph all event shipments before and after they are freighted to protect us against a possible damage claim. In the event an event shipment arrives damaged the customer must make a claim with the shipper! Allyson James and our partner manufacturers are NOT responsible or liable for damage that is incurred once the items have left our warehouse. We are happy to assist you in value estimates and anything else you require but please understand we are not liable for damages or delays that are outside our control. If you have any questions regarding this policy please contact us BEFORE you place your order! 


If you need an item by a specific date you must confirm this with us before you place your order!  Please do not assume an item will arrive on time based on delivery estimates or on the listing itself as this is a production estimate only and does not include shipping times. It is always better to confirm with us before you place your order so we can confirm the availability of rush an/or need by dates. We do our very best to get items to you by your need by date but please understand that once an item has been shipped it is in the hands of the shipper and we have no control over it. 

We do not want you to be disappointed so if you have a firm need by date please give yourself a few extra days or weeks more than you think you'll need to make up for unforseen delays.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES: *Allyson James wants you to be completely happy with your purchase and we are happy to exchange or credit your purchase for something else at Allyson James in the event the item or quality is different than listed. PLEASE READ THE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER! 

*You must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order for any item/items that need to be exchanged, after this date the item will not be refunded or exchanged except on a case by case basis. 

*Orders must be canceled within 24 hours. Once work has begun on custom or bridal/special occasion or event orders refunds or exchanges are not possible. 

*All  BRIDAL, special occasion, custom, monogrammed, personalized or group (Bridesmaids-BRIDAL) orders are Final! (This includes trim, fabric and custom applique orders!) 

FORCE RETURN: Allyson James will not accept or be liable for force returns under any circumstance! A force return is when a customer refuses delivery of a shipment without our consent or authorization. When a situation arises you must contact Allyson James to get a return authorization! If you do not do this and instead refuse delivery the shipment may be considered abandoned and it will be the customers responsibility to arrange for re-delivery. Whatever situation arises our customer must go through the proper channels and contact Allyson James BEFORE any other steps are taken!

Please be sure of your purchase and ask any questions to help with your buying decision. We are always happy to help you or answer any questions you may have! We need to be 100% satisfied with the quality of our merchandise before it’s offered up for sale and we will only ship merchandise that is in perfect condition and meets our high standards for quality. 

COMPUTER MONITOR COLOR DIFFERENCES: Please be aware of the difference in colors on different computer monitors. While our photos represent the item you are buying to the best of our ability it is possible there will be color differences from what you see on your computer monitor to what you actually receive. This is not considered a defect and returns are not allowed for this reason. 

CUSTOM ORDER COLOR GUARANTEE: Please note that while every effort is made to get your custom order as close as possible to your requested color we can not guarantee exact color matches. In addition to differences in computer monitors there can be differences between where the photo was originally taken (i.e. direct sunlight vs. a dark room, etc.) to how the item will look in your home. Please keep this in mind when placing a custom order as returns are not allowed on custom items. 

Our customer is our first priority and we want you to be happy with your purchase and the customer service you receive! If you have questions or concerns regarding your order, please email your full name, address, the date of purchase, your transaction #, and the item(s) purchased. This will ensure a speedier response. We will do our best to get back to you within 48 hours however during our busy season this is not always possible and can sometimes take up to a week. 

Custom  and Bulk Item Purchases: All custom purchases are final! Please email us for our policy and information about the customization process. Allyson James will work with you closely to help bring your vision to life. We do everything possible to make sure you are 100% happy with your custom order. Custom Items will take longer to receive than stock items and you will always be given a separate shipping estimate at the time of your order.

MEASUREMENT/FITTING ISSUES: Accurate measurements are the responsibility of the customer. Allyson James is not responsible or liable for fitting issues unless the fault is ours. If our customer has a fitting issue with a custom item we will check the measurements of the item against the measurements and instructions provided on the order by our customer. If the issue is the fault of the customer we will do everything possible to fix it however any extra alteration and shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. If you have a fitting issue and the mistake is ours Allyson James will assume responsibility and pay for any alterations needed to fix the issue. We do not want to disappoint our customers so please be extremely careful to provide accurate measurements. Please be very clear and concise with exactly what you want and do not assume we will "know' something unless you have specifically included it in writing with your order.  When in doubt it is always better to ask. Some designers package their items in boxes that are suitable for gifts but not all. If you need your item gift wrapped and sent with a gift receipt please contact us before you place your order so we can make sure your item is packaged appropriately.
