Ariel Gordon: LA-based jewelry designer Ariel Gordon launched her eponymous collection in 2009. After graduating summa cum laude from UCLA with a BA in English and Italian, Ariel produced red carpets events in Hollywood as a publicist. She began designing jewelry as an escape from the hectic pace of the PR world. When she decided to pursue jewelry design professionally, Ariel moved to San Francisco to learn the craft of metalsmithing and stone setting at the renowned Revere Academy. At Revere, she learned to translate her conceptual designs into timeless and unique jewelry pieces. After returning to Los Angeles, she further honed her design skills with famed jewelry designer Maya Brenner. Ariel's vision is to create simple jewelry that appeals to a variety of women, with the goal of creating a line that can translate from day to night and that can be integrated into various personal styles. She is inspired by nature, art, architecture, and the inherent beauty of her raw materials. Using sterling silver, gold, and vermeil metals with semi-precious stones and diamonds, Ariel creates pieces that are modern, versatile, and chic with a hint of sexy femininity and bold individuality. Her designs are born from a love of adornment. In 2009, Ariel Gordon Jewelry was named the winner of ShopStyle's Emerging Designer contest. Her celebrity following includes Eva Longoria, Drew Barrymore, Emily Blunt, Lauren Conrad, Claire Danes, Jessica Capshaw, Camila Alves, and Audrina Patridge to name a few. Beholden Bridal: Beholden Bridal is run by, Kate Klein - a 28 year old artist from Stratford, Connecticut. "I became interested in creating bridal and special occasion shoes and accessories when I began planning my own wedding. I was obsessed with Martha Stewart Weddings (still am) and wanted to plan a really unique and beautiful day. Like any girl I was obsessed with what I would wear and how I wanted to look. When searching for bridal accessories I was really dissapointed! I discovered that there really wasn't much out there in the way of accessories that I really loved or thought would work with my vision. I wanted something beautiful and really unique, exquisite...heirloom quality - it just wasn't there or if it was I could never afford it being a full time Grad Student. I decided to make my own bouquet and decorate my own shoes and got so many compliments that friends started asking me to design their bouquets and shoes. Everyone kept telling me that my crafts rock out loud and "Why don't you do what you love and make some money in the process?" Good advice friends!

Calico Juno Designs: Designer Bonnie Riconda’s jewelry design philosophy is based on her love of brilliant, bright colors, a light feeling of airiness, and of all things truly hand-created by the artist. She uses no pre-made or fabricated parts, but wraps all gemstones and beads by hand, and even makes her own hoops and french wires. Precious and semi-precious gemstones, austrian crystals, freshwater pearls, and other stones are used in combination to create a wonderful palette of colors in her original designs. After getting a BFA from York College of PA in 1998 and an MFA in painting and sculpture from Long Island University in New York in 2000, Bonnie’s love of jewelry and creating things by hand determined her course in starting her business Calico Juno Designs.  Calico Juno Designs is featured in the following magazine features include INSTYLE, LUCKY, MARIE CLAIRE, SEVENTEEN, GLAMOUR, MODERN BRIDE, THE KNOT, YM, BRIDE'S, COSMO GIRL, FAMILY CIRCLE, REDBOOK, COASTAL LIVING, ESSENCE, GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, and many more. Calico Juno Designs has been worn by Eva Longoria of Desperate Housewives, Dylan Lauren, Kathy Lee Gifford, and Geri Ryan.

Carla Fox Design: I seek out the unusual, the discarded, the old, (and sometimes new) and give them another chance to be beautiful. Each piece is greater, I believe, than the sum of its parts. These parts may consist of antique or vintage buttons, jewelry bits and pieces, lace, textiles, found objects, feathers, leaves or millinery veiling. I have repurposed abandoned wedding dresses, reusing lace and appliqué I have harvested from them. I have torn up fabrics from bridesmaids dresses and window curtains, hand dying them to see what happens. They inspire me. “There is no exquisite beauty, without some strangeness in the proportion…” a quote by Edgar Allen Poe and one that reflects my work. “ Thank you for looking.......I'm on a journey of discovery and I invite you to come along for the ride!

Gosia Meyer Jewelry: Intrigued by jewelry and fashion for as long as I can remember, my first foray into jewelry design was born of not being able to find a particular necklace I hoped to buy.  I instead made it myself and was soon designing jewelry for friends, family and fellow flight attendants (as that was my job at the time). I strive to create chic, elegant treasures that are beautiful yet affordable.  I design sterling silver and 14K Gold-Filled pieces accented by semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski Crystals, pearls, and glass beads.  I gladly work on custom pieces and have designed jewelry for bridal parties, including variations on my own creations as well as designs dreamed up by my customers. To further enrich and refine my craftsmanship, I have taken a silversmith class and precious metal clay class and - always eager to expand my skills – I plan on pursuing additional courses in the future. A lover of the outdoors, when not designing jewelry I enjoy swimming, biking, and hiking, and have a particular passion for dance.  I currently live with my husband, dog, and cat in the beautiful mountains of Vermont, my home since moving to the United States several years ago from my native Poland. I look forward to working with you for your jewelry wants and needs, both now and in the future.  Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.  I love what I do and believe this shines through in my work.  I hope you love it too.

Loella Medina: I am New York City based self taught jewelry designer. I started making jewelry at the very early age of ten years old. My love for jewelry was born as a way to pass the time while trying to adjust to life in the big apple. My father, a Civil Engineer, accidentally started making jewelry years before me when he discovered an abandoned tool box decked out with beads and pliers at a construction site. When he decided to devote all his time to his newly formed business, I took over the pliers and beads and my passion for jewelry began. Every piece of jewelry in my collections have been created to bring an aura of sensuality and romance to each woman wearing it and each piece is one of a kind even when it is part of a limited edition collection. My jewelry line has been inspired mainly by my cultural background, my travels and of course my life experience living in the multi-cultural city of New York.

Madabby: My sister is a clothes designer. She loves to work with lace and chiffon. Everything is hand sewn, with spcecial attention paid to details. We do not use machines ever!. Each and every design is made by heart at our studio in Bangkok, Thailand.

Marlo Noel: What makes Marlo Noël jewelry different: The gemstones I use are hand-cut by a company that supplies to Tiffany and Co., Laura Gibson, Lori Lori, and other contemporary jewelry designers. I try to buy the majority of my stones from them, as they employ many skilled artisans in their factory in India, paying them fair wages to cut and polish gemstones in a safe and clean environment. All stones are gem quality, with splendid light reflection, clarity, brilliance, and excellent symmetry in shape and faceting. The stones are the absolute best quality available in briolette form. I have been making jewelry for 15 years, and all pieces in the collection are made to order by myself. If you would like any changes in stones or colors on a piece, please let me know and I will explore the possibility! On that note, if you would like earrings, rings, a necklace, or a bracelet made-to-match a collection piece, or jewelry for your wedding party, just ask. Custom work is my specialty!

When these stones, crystals and pearls are added with clean complementary lines, and just the right amount of drama, Meg finds the perfect "marriage" between fabulous and functional!

Michelle Chang: I was at one time an aspiring fine artist, an interior designer, and an illustrator. Although I found enjoyment in doing all of those things, nothing compares to the degree of satisfaction and affinity that I feel when I make jewelry. Most likely because jewelry making is unique in that it allows me me incorporate all the various skills and interests that I've accrued up till now. To me, jewelry making is drawing, design, sculpture, and craft. It's art embodied in a tiny object, one that can be worn to become a part of the person wearing it.  I find inspiration in many things small and large, natural and man-made, living and inert. Every piece of jewelry is made by hand and is therefore unique. My jewelry is made here in NYC, the city that I grew up in, the city that I had left for many years, and the city that I returned to, only to find that I’ve never truly left.

Milk & Honey: We are two sisters born and raised on the east coast who have always had a passion for beautiful things and an affinity for shoes. This first came to light when Ilissa spent a semester abroad in Italy and was introduced to fine Italian food and fine Italian leather. She came home that summer 15 pounds heavier and with 17 pairs of fabulous footwear (this is not an exaggeration… ask our dad). Leading the way as the older sister, Ilissa found herself shepherding Dori into a world of beautiful shoes. Combine that with SEX AND THE CITY and an introduction to influential men such as Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti and two young shoe lovers were born! But as our tastes matured we knew two things: 1) We didn’t want to have to take out second mortgages to support our shoe habit and 2) Sometimes we just couldn’t find want we wanted and that was simply not okay.  So, being as dedicated as we are to the plight, we figured out a way to get our perfect shoe. When we just couldn’t keep it a secret any longer we created milk & honey™ to introduce the idea of affordable custom made shoes to women everywhere!  We’ve lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong and know a thing or two about getting what we want! We are so excited about our shoes and hope you are too…

Millie Icaro Heirloom: Each heirloom garter and sash is made with love from Indianapolis, Indiana. Millie uses vintage laces and embillishments to create her one of a kind original designs that will be passed down through generations of brides.

Moyna Handbags: Moyna Singh's experience with artisans and Asian handicraft dates back to 1985 when she was closely involved with the design and manufacture of handcrafted home accessories in India. Her experience with handicraft led her to start a business in the United States devoted to designing and manufacturing handcrafted fashion accessories such as handbags, scarves, headbands and barrettes, and accessories for the home. Moyna's knowledge of Asian Indian beads, fabrics and colors gives her a unique ability to use these elements in fashion and home products for the U.S. market. Moyna has extensive experience in business management and a BA in psychology. Moyna handbags and fashion accessories are individually hand beaded and embroidered by skilled artisans in India, using traditional beading techniques. In most cases, the beading is done on 100% silk fabric. Glass beads have carefully been selected so that their colors and shapes complement the fabric and design of the pieces. All of MOYNA products are exclusive and hand made. Any apparent variations in the design are characteristic, and lend uniqueness to the piece.

Nashelle: Raised in beautiful Juneau, Alaska. Studied metal arts at the University of Alaska Southeast. Traveled for nine years eventually landing on the Oregon coast. Opened a small studio in Cannon Beach, OR and designed a variety of unique pieces that would soon be sold off my neck nightly while bartending at a local restaurant. Word spread quickly that it was the hot spot to buy beautifully unique pieces. After several months, ventured out and sold jewelry in other parts of Oregon. Moved to Bend years later, opened a small retail shop, "Nashelle" in downtown Bend. In 2005, gave birth to son Kash Sylas and chose to expand to wholesale production with the hope of creating a work environment that would allow for her to raise Kash. The Nashelle team consists of five amazing people. Without these colorful people we would not be where we are today. Each individual is dedicated to creating unique, high quality jewelry at an affordable price. All pieces are handmade to order in our Bend studio. Each piece is brought from start to finish paying close attention to detail. First we start by forming the metal, hammering it into shape, then texturing it. Where designs require gemstones, all gems are handpicked to perfection and carefully wire wrapped into the piece. All styles are available in both sterling silver and 14k gold fill. None of our designs are mass produced or outsourced and we have no intention of that ever happening.

Natalie Briggs: Hi, my name is Natalie Briggs, I was born in England but am now living in sunny Western Australia with my beautiful husband. I’ve always been very creative, mainly from trying to get things at budget prices. If you don't want to spend a lot of money in life and spend smarter I think you have to be able to be creative, think out side the box. I make a lot of things around the house my self and love doing that. I love craft shows and antique shows (yes I'm a bit of an 'old lady' at the age of 23). I really hate mass-production of items in our world today and love being involved in the handmade industry. After my own wedding in March 2010, I was disappointed with the lack of range and individuality of garters in the shops available to me. So after my wedding I decided to start making my own garters so other brides can have a truly unique and beautiful garter for their special day with out the huge price tag and tacky 80's style designs! ekkk :) This is where Natalie Briggs - Luxury Handmade Garters was born. Now so many brides around the world have one of my modern, sexy, elegant garters around their leg on their special day. This is my biggest reward and puts a smile on my face.

Nasya honed her craft while Freelancing, and interning at J. Mendel and Zac Posen. Working at these luxury company provides the young designer with useful and practical knowledge for succeeding in the industry as well as being an incubator for thought provoking inspiration. Her devotion to fashion as an art form is only eclipsed by her presence and enthusiasm in the  workroom. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of sources, her design philosophy is, “…well the most personal thing that a designer carries with them, the compass that drives the ideas. To every sense, the reaction that springs it to life. For me, LIFE is my design philosophy. To live with passion, virtue, and the inherent beauty that surrounds everything that is. Adding tactile elements, expressing the world as I see its exquisiteness. With that in mind I design from and for the world around me.”

Paris XOX: While preparing for my own Wedding in Switzerland and a Blessing in England I wanted something to wear with a bit of romance and history.  I purchased an antique gold horseshoe brooch studded with diamonds and pinned it onto a silk ribbon to wear as a choker... And there is the very small beginning of our company... We are a small cottage business. Everything is handcrafted by me in my "Shabby Chic Studio"... think pink and sparkly with a bit of whimsy added for good measure!

Sarah Cavender discovered the beauty and versatility of bronze screening and other wire materials while studying at the Philadelphia College of Art where she majored in sculpture.  After graduating in 1984, she remained in Philadelphia and applied her skills and understanding of metal to develop a process of forming these materials into wonderful floral, leaf and insect representations as well as abstract form. Sarah looks to her extensive world travel experiences for inspiration.  Her knowledge of art history and design influence her varied design approach.  Constantly in search of uncommon and unique materials, Sarah Cavender maintains a design criteria in which each piece contains an element of woven wire.  In this philosophy she continues to consistently produce a line of jewelry, belts, and handbags that are truly beautiful to wear and admire as objects of art. Voleur De Bijoux Jewelry Designer Moniqueis an abstract artist, sculptor and jewelry designer. "My inspirations comes from a million things. I love looking at the unique and strange beauty of our world, the people and objects in it. If you look close enough you will see beauty in so many things. The shadows between two trees, the colors reflected in a drop of water, gold flecks in the rocks on the sidewalk, the moment before the sun rises and takes over the bluish gray sky...these are the things that inspires me. I hope to create jewelry that will inspire you." Voleur de Bijoux is a unique and special place where little things are collected, coveted, treasured and reborn into new delectable pieces of adornment for the fanciful and ardent collector. Woomi Pyo: Hello~My name is Woomi and I'm loving designing under my own name! I graduated Parsons school of design with a BFA in spring 2008. Since then I have experienced many exciting opportunities. I launched my collection when I was living in New York, now I've moved back to my home country Korea, I promise to continue to develop new styles as this shop is a true reflection of my simple yet, whimsical and romantic aesthetic. Yayoi Forest: Born near a small forest in Japan, designer Yayoi Inada expresses her stories and experiences through her jewelry. Yayoi was raised in Kyoto and Osaka in Japan.  As a child she was drawn to the calm and complete feeling she had whenever she spent time observing and appreciating nature’s beauty. After working as an account executive for an advertising agency in Tokyo, Yayoi began to have the desire to express her artistic side. She made a decision to follow her passion and moved to New York to study jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2003 Yayoi decided to turn her passion into a reality by launching her jewelry collection Yayoi Forest Jewelry. “I like to put the feelings of my childhood in the forest into my jewelry, the smell of rain, the warm touch of tree bark on your skin or sitting on a beautiful old tree stump just thinking up my own fairy tales”. All of these memories can be reflected throughout her collections which have a sense of nature and whimsy. Yayoi believes that her jewelry should be worn as a lucky charm. She often uses birds in flight or the tree of life to symbolize hope and happiness to the people that wear her jewelry.  Working from her jewelry studio in Brooklyn, New York, Yayoi individually crafts all of her designs by hand using 14K gold or sterling silver. She specializes in hand etching techniques and detailed wax carving to accentuate her appreciation for organic shapes and natural beauty.
